Jay Upadhyay

A Mumbai-based actor active in professional theatre since 2001, Jay Upadhyay is best known for playing Pranav Seth in Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story. He starred in the Gujarati film Kevi Rite Jaish, credited with starting the era of urban Gujarati cinema, and won the Transmedia Award for Best Actor in Comic Role for Paaghdi. A core member of Manoj Shah's theatre group, he has appeared in Bhamasha and Mareez.
