A journalist and translator who wrote the Gujarati adaptation of Ibsen's The Master Builder for Ideas Unlimited in 2014 — the first time the play had been rendered in the language. She has worked in print and broadcast media for over a decade, including with the BBC, and trained in Kathak. She was selected for the US government's International Visitor Leadership Programme, received the Young Communicator Award, and was chosen for the 'Life and Thought of Gandhi' programme at the Indian Institute of Advanced Study, Shimla. She holds an MA and BA in History and a BA in Kathak, spent a month in Kabul compering a musical concert in 2007, and has acted in the Gujarati play Pappa No Problem.
