Pratik Gandhi

Before Scam 1992 made him a national sensation, Pratik Gandhi was a Gujarati theatre actor whom Manoj Shah took a liking to during a touring production. Shah cast him in two solo plays that defined his craft: Hu Chandrakant Bakshi (2013), where he inhabited the controversial Gujarati writer, and Mohan No Masalo (2015), where he played young Mohandas Gandhi in three languages in a single day — earning a Limca Book of Records entry. Critics noted these collaborations 'helped solidify Gandhi's reputation as an actor.' Gandhi still calls Shah to perform shows between film projects. His screen career includes Scam 1992, Bhavai, Atithi Bhooto Bhava, and Dedh Bigha Zameen.
