The Gujarati writer of Kamrabhabhi No Barapo, the domestic comedy Ideas Unlimited built out of the north Gujarat dialect. His script is a running monologue by a housewife complaining about her retired husband, followed by a monologue in which the husband answers back — the same marriage told twice, from opposite sides of the kitchen door. He wrote companion pieces in the same voice for other members of the household, including one for Kamla's perpetually unsettled brother Shailesh.
