Shyam Pathak

A National School of Drama graduate and trained theatre actor, Shyam Pathak began his career on the Mumbai stage with Nadira Babbar's Ekjute Theatre Group before becoming widely known as Patrakaar Popatlal Pandey in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. His Gujarati roots and theatre training brought him into the Ideas Unlimited fold, where he performed in productions including Achalayatan. He has also appeared in Ang Lee's Lust, Caution alongside Anupam Kher.
